FAQ

  • What to do if the sink drains slowly and emits an odor after a period of use?

Slow drainage: Clear the blockage according to the solution for slow drainage in the Usage Section;Odor emission: Mainly caused by rotting food residue left in the drain assembly → Remove the deodorant core, clean it with warm water and dish soap, then rinse the drain pipe with boiling water to kill bacteria. Alternatively, pour a small amount of baking soda into the drain outlet, followed by white vinegar, let it sit for 5 minutes and rinse with boiling water—this can effectively eliminate the odor.
  • Do I need to reattach the fallen sound-dampening pad of the sink?

Yes. The sound-dampening pad is designed to reduce noise caused by water flow impact, and its falling off will lead to increased noise. You can purchase a special sink sound-dampening pad, or reattach the original one to the bottom of the sink with high-temperature resistant and waterproof double-sided tape, making sure it is pasted flat without air bubbles.
  • How to dismantle and clean a clogged sink drain assembly?

Single-basin drain assembly: Rotate the nut at the bottom of the drain assembly counterclockwise, remove the drain pipe, then take out the filter screen and deodorant core, clean out internal debris, rinse thoroughly and reinstall in the original order;Double-basin drain assembly: First close the drain outlets, dismantle the three-way pipe connecting the two basins, then take out the filter screen and deodorant core of each basin separately, clean the debris and reinstall. Ensure the joints are tightly sealed during installation to prevent water leakage.
  • Why is the sink leaking and how to fix it?

Common causes of water leakage and corresponding solutions:Seepage between sink and countertop: Aging or unevenly applied sealant → Remove the old sealant and reapply new neutral mildew-proof sealant;Leakage at drain assembly: Loose or damaged sealing ring → Dismantle the drain assembly, replace with a new sealing ring, then reinstall and tighten it firmly;Leakage at drain pipe: Loose or damaged drain pipe joints → Check and tighten the joints; replace the drain pipe if it is damaged;Damage to the sink itself: Cracks on the sink → Repair minor cracks with stainless steel repair compound; replace the sink if the damage is severe.
  • What should be noted when installing a stainless steel sink?

Check the sink for damage or deformation and verify the completeness of accessories (drain assembly, drain pipe, sealing ring, etc.) before installation; The cutout size on the countertop must match the sink, and the edges of the cutout should be polished smooth to avoid scratching the sink;Apply sealant between the sink and the countertop during installation to ensure a tight seal and prevent water leakage;Test the drainage for smoothness after installation: turn on the faucet to release water, observe the drainage speed and check for water seepage. If seepage occurs, adjust the sealing ring or reapply sealant in a timely manner.
